They Have Their Exits The classroom, a student ' s home away from home,” provides unequaled opportunities for learning. Patriotism is reflected in the activities and in the lives of L. H. S. students. Students face the never ending task of studying with a somewhat skeptic attitude. 6

And One Man In His Participation in assembly programs enables students to demonstrate their leadership abilities. Future farmers learn the fundamentals of better farm- ing through agriculture class. Some skills which the students learn are welding, mechanics, and rope-mak- ing. One of the many ways in which L. H. S. students express themselves is in the world of science. Many hours of diligent work and attention must be directed toward the projects if favorable results are to be obtained. 8
