In the three years that he has been with us, Mr. B. O. Porterfield has been an important part of our faculty. He is assistant principal, teacher of biology, and is a great help to the students in the guid- ance department. In a school, the bookkeeping is a big p r o b 1 e m . Mr. George Ben Whited, B.A. Principal We, the seniors at Lebanon High School feel that we have been extremely fortunate in having Mr. G. B. Whited to guide us during our years at L.H.S. Through our association with him, our lives have been greatly enriched because of his interest in the student body, the help he has given us, and the good advice. We shall all remember him as an inspiration and a model for our future. Mr. Whited has put the needs and problems of the students before his own personal wants. He has shared with us our problems and our triumphs. Whatever we have achieved, we know that we owe much of the credit to the patience and understanding of our principal. 14
