THE CHALLENGE OF EDUCATION Miss Sue Holmes, Lebanon ' s secretary gets her duties for the day from Mr. Whited. We can rest assured that these jobs will be done capably and efficiently. Sue, popular and well liked by the students as well as the faculty has been an invaluable member of our staff since she began working here in 1958.

Mr. George Ben Whited, B.A. Principal We, the seniors at Lebanon High School feel that we have been extremely fortunate in having Mr. G. B. Whited to guide us during our years at L.H.S. Through our association with him, our lives have been greatly enriched because of his interest in the student body, the help he has given us, and the good advice. We shall all remember him as an inspiration and a model for our future. Mr. Whited has put the needs and problems of the students before his own personal wants. He has shared with us our problems and our triumphs. Whatever we have achieved, we know that we owe much of the credit to the patience and understanding of our principal. 14
