He has taught and coached basketball, baseball, and football. Since that time she has coached basketball, and she organized the first softball team in Lebanon in 1947, This year she coached field hockey. Miss Natalie Smith has been at L. H. S. for seven years. She has coached both girls' varsity and junior varsity basketball, This year is her first year as advisor to the cheerleaders and majorettes. She teaches world history. Mr. Robert Bailey is a 1955 University of Maine graduate. He played in semi-pro baseball in Maine. This is his first year as director of physical education in the grade schools and head coach of basketball and track, He assisted in junior varsity football, Mr, John Duncklee has been with L. H. S, for six years where he has taught social studies and mathematics, He has assisted as ski coach for the past two years, taking over completely dur- ing coach Merrill's absence in Cortina, Italy, this past year. Mr, Robert Dobias has been a faculty member and coach of the varsity football and junior varsity basketball teams for one year. He teaches history and civics. Mr, C, Allison Merrill has taught chemistry and physics here for nine years. He has developed nationally prominent ski teams.
