Basketball I956-'5 The Lebanon High School basketball season has been successful. At this point, the Yellowjackets A team has won 24 and lost one. The 'B' team is undefeated in fourteen starts . The 'A' team has clinched first place in the Frisco League and has taken the Skyline Conference crown outright. Lebanon has participated in three tournaments this yearp the Frisco League at Richland, the Blue and Gold at SMS Fieldhouse, and the Tournament of Champions at Parkview. The 'Jackets won at Richland, defeating the host team, Ioplin gave LHS a scare before going down in the finals of the 'Gold' division of the Blue and Gold. Af- ter breezing through the first rounds Lebanon lost in the semi-finals to Springfield Parkview, and then took third place honors over Green Forest, Arkansas. The 'B' team has also had a successful season. Parkview, Central, Bolivar, Windyville Qeach of these twicel, Marshfield, Tunis 'A,' Richland, Buffalo, and Dixon have fallen before the 'B' team.
