At the beginning of the school year the Y.C.L. for the Primary Grades was organized with officers as follows: Harry Frost. .president Diana Dahlquist. .vice president Terry Rowse . . secretary Carol Lassanske . .treasurer The Y.C.L. sold tickets on a cake at the High School Carnival October 20th which brought Sl6. Later the cake was put on sale and S13 .00 was received. A Halloween party was held in the primary room on October 3lst. The pupils dressed in Halloween costumes, marched through the classrooms of the building. Games were played, and refreshments of jello, cake, and Kool-aid were served by the Y. C . L. committees .
