Summer Institutes Motivate Participants Active in sunnner as well as win- ter, students from Lebanon High School journeyed to various insti- tutes and camps lor exploration in- to diverse and interesting fields. Four representatives studied the lacets ol' journalism. Instruction was given on methods which hest lti inform the student body of events in its school. This guidance was invaluable as students edited the CI lf D A R S and the 1'1'm1f1r1f. Lebanon participated in the His- tory Institute for the first time as five scholars attended a week's seminar that dealt with impor- tant issues ol' today. Boys' and Girls' State delegates studied state and local governments. In mid-June three from the Le- banon chapter attended Sunshine Camp. Latin and lihrary repre- sentatives traveled to respective seminars to increase their skills.
