Records of each student, from the time l1e enters, ure kept on file here und can be referred to even long after he graduates. 16 SUPERINTENDENT Filling one of the most lIDlJO1'Il1lll' posts in our school system is our capable superintendent, Mt. Thomas L. Cl1ristiru1. His ollice, in tl1e Senior High Building, is tl1e main- spring of our Lebanon school system. Among l1is duties :ire the recon1111end11tions for new teachers, keeping records for the different schools, and handling ull new text books. To the Sevens, perhaps, it's looking ahead to their next five years and wondering, How will I ever make it all the way? To the Seniors it is the reminiscence of six full years, trying to decide where they Went. These men and women on the next pages are the pillar stones on which we leaned to help guide us through those years. There is no doubt in our minds that our teachers are the best to be had. They appear to be tireless in their efforts to help us and always have time to stop and give us a boost, even though they're busy. The time they spend outside of school assisting us in extra- curricular activities and functions takes a great deal of their time and patience, but it is given in a friendly, not patronizing, manner so as to make us feel useful. Our Seventh Graders certainly have a lot to look forward to working shoulder to shoulder with our teachers in educating themselves. The Seniors will always remember the friendliness and helpfulness of our unrelenting and tireless teachers.

ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL There isnt a student in Lebanon High School that doesn't know Mrs. Drubelle Stephenson and that hasn't sometime been rendered a service by her. First of all, she is the person who helps the new Seventh Grader to become accustomed to the new school life into which he is thrown. Mrs. Stephenson conducts all testing and guidance direct- ing for the school system and also assists the Seniors in counseling for their entrance into college. As assistant principal, her main concern is the running of the Junior High, which she does in her usual capable manner. At right: Mft. Slephenwn and office aniytarzt Nanry McKinney. Drulzelle Slepllbfljllll, PlJ.B., AIMS SCHOOL BOARD The men behind the scenes -while we rarely see these men, they are essential to the efficient operation of our school system. The School Board consists of three members chosen for a term of three years by our City Council. This is the group which makes the ultimate decisions pertaining to the employing of our teachers, administrators, and other persons in our school system, as well as maintenance of the school and purchasing for the school system.
