Claw flddmq Thirteen of the forty-six students of the Class of 1960 have been classmates since kindergarten days. These thirteen are: Joel Berner, Joyce Brooks, Becky Engle, Betty French, Judy Krump, Dona Campe, John King, Sandra Monken, Richard Neal, Richard Ogden, Carol Rutherford, Judy Cotts, and Janet Widicus. In September of 1947 thirty-eight of us entered kindergarten. Mrs. Lillian Mendenhall taught us in two shifts--morning and afternoon. With Mrs. Leona Beck as our first grade teacher we gained eighteen pupils including Margaret Nunn and Jo Ann Johnson who stayed with us until the end of our Junior year. Our gains and losses this year jiggled themselves so that we numbered thirty-two. While the years were rushing by we were already in the second grade with Mrs. Florence Ditter- line and Miss Marjorie Dawes as teachers. Some joined us and some left for various reasons, but none of those who joined us this year remained to graduate with us.
