Lebanon Catholic-O Shenandoah-6 Determined to make up for the last game's mistakes, the Beavers traveled to Shenandoah to take on the Mighty Atoms. As the game progressed, we moved inside their twenty yard line and even to the ten, but we coulcln't score. Ammon and Joe Ryan of the Atoms made it a game of fullbacks. Neither team could muster any kind of attack to score. Finally in the last six seconds, after being penalized for unneces- sary roughness, the Beavers fumbled and Shen- andoah recovered and after the pile was un- covered the Atoms had six points and the game. Lebanon Catholic- I 9 St. Edward's-I3 Ending the season at Shamokin, the Beavers came home with a win. Sam Spears opened the game for St. Edward's with'o scoring run of fifty-seven yards. Jim Day knotted the score before the half. Buckets was sprung loose on an end-around by Pat Ander- son's block in the third quarter and went on to score. Later Tony Sciotti snared Shounder's pass and went over from the five. Shamokin threatened again but the gun went off before they could get a touchdown. It was the last game for these seniors: Tom Simpson, John Batdorf, Ammon Peffley, Pat Anderson, Buck Shounder, George Kovach, and Joe Noll. Pat Anderson and Ammon Peffley receive pre-gome instructions at Shamokin. Lebanon Catholic-13 Mt. Carmel-O Back on the home front the Beavers met Mt. Carmel. After Luceskie intercepted Tom Filingeri's aerial, the team held the Rams and forced them to punt. After Kovach tackled the kicker and we took over on downs, Day and Sciotti picked up yardage and Joe Hinks scored from the three. Late in the third, Frattaroli hiked the score to thirteen points on the end-around.
