The Sophomores There are just elght of the Sophomore class but nevertheless we hold our own Wlth the other classes Several of our members took part IH the plays that were glven durmg the school year We admlt we take no part In the athletlcs but what is to be expected when there IS only one small boy ln the entlre class The year was opened bv electmg Elma Hathaway as our class presl dent and selecting Mrs Adams as our class advlsor Soon after thls we gave a party and lnvltvd ln other classmen Thls party started the ball to rollmg so to speak and other parties were glven and we dld our share When work was started on the Annual we elected Mllton Thompson our class edltor He however would not accept the place so we held another meeting and elected our presldent to act as the edltor for our class We hope our number wlll be mcreased bv another year although we could not hope for an muease ln the school splrlt the Sophomores have shown thls year There are none of the class ln that dread llst of failures we manage to get through and lease that honor to some other class So on through the years some of us may graduate wuth honors Unhke the Fresh men none of our members have left the hlgh to get marrled SYLVA SWAN!
