Emporia. and master of arts degree from Teachers College. Columbia University. Mr. Youngs office is in the Vocational Annex. Center left: Mildred Potter. for the first semester was counselor in charge of guidance services. The function of this office includes administering group and indivi- dual testsg vocational and educational counseling: and conducting placement service. This office was created last year. Mrs. Potter holds a bachelor of arts degree from Kansas University. Bottom left: D. Frohman Meeker, counselor for the second semester, holds a bachelor of science degree and a master of science degree from Kansas State Teachers College, Emporia. Mr. Meeker was principal for five years at Garnett High School before coming to Leavenworth High. Hugh C. Bryan. school superintendent since 1943. holds a bachelor of science degree from Kansas State College, and a master of science degree from Kansas State Teachers College of Emporia. This was his second year as principal at LHS after holding the position as vice-principal for two years. Mr. Tolle was previously principal of Eureka Springs High School in Arkansas.
