These include club initiations, parties. dances, and worry over homework. Also, many concern humorous points of work in the classroom. With this as a background the June Bug Staff has tried to publish a book every student will enjoy. We hope we have succeeded. 7' A A 1 .1 T -,ae 1. Lack of experience, however, proved the fatal mark for the spirited Pioneers, and they found at the end of the series, they were holding a record of two wins and seven losses, putting them in the cellar of NEKL standings. WE WANT A Superior line play coupled with passes sent the Pioneers into victory over the Washington Wildcats in their grid opener before approximately 3,000 spectators. A second and final victory came for the hustling bunch when they ventured to Olathe. Ilolding the hosts completely scoreless, the Pioneers, led by Bill Kindig most of the way, racked up three TD's and two extra points, leaving the score at the end of the game 20-0.
