N STUDENTS OBSERVE STATE LEGIS- LATURE AT WORK Leavenworth High School students have had a golden opportunity to see in actual practice, what they have been studying in class. The project was the brainchild of Waterbury's freshman representative Fred A. De Leon. He generously offered to be host twice each week to two students chosen by their class- mates from groups taking courses in American History and economics. It gave the students a chance to watch the mechanics of law-making at the State Capitol. The two students in the picture are John LaMattino and Ralph Cretella. Others who were elected wereg Barbara Bovino, Betty Mancinone, Vincent Mantino, Frank Olear, and Victor Rusgatis. iz? -'3'-in WK il c- f. U. t,r., , 5. fesfryfiife , -
