VARSITY BASEBALL This year's baseball team will be strengthened by the return of ten of last year's letter-men, namely: Capt. Jimmy Piersall, Bart Daly, Sal Recchia, Dick Howard, Dick Daddona, Joe Aufiero, Art Barstis, Al Dostaler, and Dick Porto. Last year, Leavenworth 'walked-off' with the Al Kelley trophy by winning both Inter-City football games, all tour ot the basketball games, and three of the tour baseball games. This was the best record for one school to register since the inauguration of this trophy. This year the baseball team's objective has been 'cut out' tor it, because the race for the Kelley trophy is tied, with both Crosby and Wilby equaling Leavenworth's 20 points.
