JEAN ALICE VERONNEAU Jeanie St. Ann's Jeanie is a friend to all. Her sense of humor and ability to carry on a conversation are the reasons for this. Jeanie's favorite subiects are sewing and cooking, both of which she does well. She enjoys roller-skating, dancing, and swimming. Jeanie's ambition is to become a policewoman. You'll take with you the best of luck we can give, Jeanie. T. C. A., L. L. A., Junior Red Cross THOMAS D. VERRASTRO Tommy Sacred Heart Tommy is a quiet and good-natured pal to anyone who knows him. His favorite subjects are science and mechanical drawing. His favorite hobbies are bowling, roller skating and playing the piano. His ambition is to become an aeronautical engineer and from his interest in mechanical drawing we know he will reach his goal. ANTHONY C. VESPOLI Tony Walsh Tony is easly spotted by his broad smile and striking moustache as he walks through our corridors. His favorite subjects are English and economics. He likes music and plans to make a career of it as a dance band musician. We all hope he will succeed. Good luck, Tony. Her quick wit and good humor have made her an outstanding member of our class. Nancy's best subject is English while collecting stuffed animals takes up her spare time. ANTHONY TOZZI Tony Driggs Tony, a very quiet but ambitious fellow, is the kind of person who does his work and no questions asked. His favorite subjects are science, shop practice and mechanical drawing. His favorite hobby is working in his own workshop. He also plays baseball and football quite well. After graduation he hopes to take up a trade and go into business. We know he will do very well. T. C. A. Dance Club, Junior Red Cross and we wish him luck. T. C. A., Junior Red Cross JOH N VARANELLI Durf St. Joseph Happy-go-lucky is the best way to describe him, his ability to have a joke for every occasion makes him popular. While his school activities are not many, his outside ones seem to keep him pretty well occupied. Bowling and golf are his chief interests, and he is said to be very good at both. Though his favorite subject is pattern making, Durf plans to go into the construction business. With his ability with words and wood, he will be successful wherever he goes. T. C. A., Junior Red Cross, T. C. A. Bowling Club ELVIRA M TORTORICI Torchy or Vera Slocum Torchy is the girl with the auburn hair and keen sense of humor. She can always be found at the noisiest table in the sewing class, where she excels in needlework Her favorite subjects are chemistry and English. Nature also blessed Torchy with a fine singing voice. She is well-liked by both students and faculty and all wish her the best of luck in her future career as a nurse Senior Harvest Dance, Tech Liber T C A L L A Junior Red Cross, T. C. A. Bowling JOH N M VALENTI Milkman Barnard Milkman is a fellow with a happy go lucky personality nothing seems to disturb him. English and chemistry rank first on his list of favorite subiects. Skating swimming and baseball take up a good deal of his time. Milkmon plans to go to business college

ANTHONY JOSEPH WALSH BRONIS VITKAUSKAS Bunny Sf. Joseph Taking things as they come is Bunny's attitude toward life. Bunny's favorite subjects are auto mechanics, mathematics, machine shop, and mechanical drawing. Among his favorite hobbies are swimming, fishing, and also ice and roller-skating. His ambition is to enter the field of freight transportation. J un ior Red Cross Andy Sacred Heart Andy's fun loving, easy ways have won him friends among his classmates. His friendly smile is a familiar sight in the halls and classrooms of Leavenworth. Some of his favorite spare time activities are bowling, billiards, basketball, and collecting menus. He terms music, English, and shop his choice subjects. Andy plans to enter the U. S. Coast Guard. Junior Red Cross, T. C. A. VALDORIS V. WATTS VGl Walsh Fun-loving and friendly Val rates high with her classmates. Her formula for a relaxation is to lose herself in an engrossing novel. Her favorite subiects are chemistry and sewing. She enjoys dancing, reading and basketball. Her great desire is to be an interior decora- tor. We know that she will be successful in this field. T. C. A., L. L. A., Junior Red Cross JOH N L. WILCOX Jock Sprague Jack is one of Leavenworth's smallest students, but he is by no means one of its quietest. He can usually be found at the center of the noisiest group in the class. His favorite spare time activities are ice skating, baseball, and auto repairing. Jack's ability in his subjects, especially in English and economics, coupled with his fun- loving traits, will undoubtedly prove invaluable in later life, when he hopes to have a business of some kind.
