EUGENE STACK Gene St. Francis Xavier This is one of our more restless boys. If something is doing, he's sure to be there, Although in school he hasn't been active in any clubs, outside you would not know him. Gene is very active there, we wonder where he gets his energy. lt's seldom that he doesn't smile or laugh. His future plans include entering the service. As to his choice of service, we know he will pick the one best suited to him. Lots of luck, Gene. T. C. A., Junior Red Cross ERNEST STAFSTROM Ernie Terryville Ernie came to us from Terryville, and in his four years here he has acquired many friends. We know Ernie will be successful in whatever he chooses for his life's work. He is a boy of many hobbies, but his favorites are cartooning, basketball, and ice skating. T. C. A., Junior Red Cross ERNEST N STANCO ANGELO M. ST. JOHN Saint Duggan Saint, who hails from Duggan School, picks mathematics, Eng- lish, and shop as his favorite subjects, and bowling and basketball as his favorite sports. Although Saint is a very quiet fellow, don't let him fool you, he can always be counted on for a good time. T. C. A., Junior Red Cross, Tech-0-Scope i Ernie East Farms Short and sizzling may well describe this dark-haired boy, and wherever there's excitement you're pretty sure to find Ernie. He was an active member of the T. C. A. and enthusiastically sup- ported all school athletic events. Outside of school, bowling and playing pinochle occupy most of his time. ARNOLD SMITH Snuffy St. Peter and Paul St. Peter and Paul's gift was a quiet, good natured fellow nick- named Snuffy. Snuffy's favorite subjects are mathematics, his- tory, and chemistry. He likes swimming and skating and his favorite pastime is eating. Snuffy hasn't made plans for the future yet, but we wish him lots of luck. Junior Red Cross PETER SPAGNOLETTI Spag Duggan One of the most popular and witty boys in the Senior class is Pete. Pete is always making up poems in his leisure time. Besides poetry, he favors sports in a big way. Mathematics, chemistry, and economics are Pete's favorite subjects. His ambition is to own and operate his own store in the near future. T. C. A., Bowling Cllub, Junior Red Cross Armand ARMAND C. WILLIAM J. SPARANO Midge Duggan Bill's clowning nature has made him a favorite among his class- mates, but a bit of a worry to his teachers. He is hardly ever serious, but when he does start to work he goes at it with a determination hard to equal. His favorite subject is chemistry and his hobbies are model building and fishing. He plans to specialize in agriculture when he leaves school, and he has our best wishes. T. C. A., Junior Red Cross SPERDUTI Hendricken Tall, good looking, and always smiling, Armand is the quiet and modest type. He is the fellow who was happiest when there was no homework for the next day. He likes to work around cars, and bowling and collecting records are his pastime. He selects English and mechanical drawing as his favorite subjects. VITO SUMMA Smoky Slocum usually find Smoky at the head of the class whenever concerned. His extensive reading makes possible his along with camping, billiards, and bowling constitute activities. He places English, economics, and electricity first in his choice of subjects. Srnoky's general personality and ready smile have won him many friends during his stay at Leavenworth, and they will undoubtedly prove important assets in later life. He plans to further his education at the University of Connecticut. You can intelligence is intellect, and his spare time Junior Red Cross, T. C. A. iisyu Sy can be recogninzed by his dark blonde hair which he is con- stantly and hunting. Chemistry and physics are his favorite subjects. Charlie SI, Joseph Charlie is usually found in the hall near 107, talking to his friends. ln school his favorite subjects are mathematics and shop. Outside hunting Charlie playing tells us T. JOH N R. SYSSA Bunker Hill combing. His hobbies are building model airplanes, fishing, ROB ERT TALBOT Bob Walsh Walsh's gift to Tech is Bob, a well-liked and sociable fellow. He is a very quiet fellow, but can always be counted on for a laugh. His favorite subjects are history and aeronautics. A few weeks after graduation Bob plans to join the Navy and study electronics and radio. Good luck, Bob. Tech-0-Scope, T. C.
