WILLIAM H. SCHAEFFER Bill Lispe SS. Peter and Paul This handsome fellow has made many a girl's heart leap, for his million dollar smile has proved hard to resist. To make friends is Lispe's aim in life. His spare time is divided between dancing and carpentry, while mechanical drawing and chemistry interest him in school. He plans to travel for a few years and then study archi- tectu ral engineering. GENE R. SCHMIDT Gene Buck's Hill Gene, blond and six feet tall, is the big boy around the machine shop and will always be found withkhis hands full of grease. Gene loves to build model airplanes and to collect stamps. Gene's ambition is to work in his father's hardware store and some day he wishes to own the store. Well, Gene, here's wishing you o lot of luck in the hardware business. T. C. A., Junior Red Cross, Rifle Team WILLIAM SHEA uBiIIll This curly-haired fellow, well-known to the school girls, is one of the T. C. Afs best dancers. Bill loves outdoor sports, and his hobbies are dancing and skating. Bill seems to digest chemistry and mathe- matics very easily. We wish him the best of luck in the future. T. c. A. BERNARD SHERWILL Bernie Barnard Bernie is one of Leavenworth's most popular students. His bright personality and easy conversation have won him many friends among his classmates. ln his four years at Leavenworth, Bernie has distinguished himself on the basketball court. He has convinced all who have seen him play that a combination of ability and fighting spirit cannot be beaten. Among his many pastimes are skating, tennis, swimming, and record collecting. If Bernie continues to do as well as he has in his school subjects, particularly geometry and economics, his favorites, we know that he will fulfill his ambition to graduate from college. FELICE M SANTOPIETRO NICHOLAS SAMELA Nick Driggs Nick, who seems to be on the quiet side, keeps much to himself. His favorite subjects are mathematics and chemistry and he has proven his ability in both. Baseball and basketball are his main pastimes. Nick's ambition is to be a toolmaker or to take up radio. T. C. A., Junior Red Cross P i Webster Phil can be seen at any hour of the day chewing gum and chatting away at a great speed. Likable Phil , one of our nurses to be , picks English, civics, and science as her favorite subjects. She is especially fond of basketball and was one of our best scorers. Phil plans to enter a nursing school and any patient that appreciates wit will welcome Phil as his nurse. MARIO SCARDETTI CARMELLA M. SANTORO Cormier Webster Shy, quiet, and friendly describe our friend, Carmie . She has proven herself to be talented in the line of dancing-especially the Hula , However, that is only one of the things that keeps Carmie occupied. The rest of her time is taken' up with designing clothes, collecting perfumes and well-you know! And now, all kidding aside, we'd like to wish Carmie the best of luck in her future dress designing career. T. C. A., L. L. A., Junior Red Cross Scar Slocum To those who don't know Scar, he may appear to be a quiet, almost silent young fellow, but this is as far from the truth as night is different from day. Although he's not a muscle man , he more than makes up for his stature with his quick wit and radiant per- sonality. ln school Scar favors electricity, and it is said, is a serious threat to the C. L. and P. Co. A great deal of Scar's leisure time is taken up with bowling and pool, in both of which he does well. ARNOLD SMITH Snuffy St. Peter and Paul St. Peter and Paul's gift was a quiet, good natured fellow nick- named Snuffy. Snuffy's favorite subjects are mathematics, his- tory, and chemistry. He likes swimming and skating and his favorite pastime is eating. Snuffy hasn't made plans for the future yet, but we wish him lots of luck. Junior Red Cross PETER SPAGNOLETTI Spag Duggan One of the most popular and witty boys in the Senior class is Pete. Pete is always making up poems in his leisure time. Besides poetry, he favors sports in a big way. Mathematics, chemistry, and economics are Pete's favorite subjects. His ambition is to own and operate his own store in the near future. T. C. A., Bowling Cllub, Junior Red Cross Armand ARMAND C. WILLIAM J. SPARANO Midge Duggan Bill's clowning nature has made him a favorite among his class- mates, but a bit of a worry to his teachers. He is hardly ever serious, but when he does start to work he goes at it with a determination hard to equal. His favorite subject is chemistry and his hobbies are model building and fishing. He plans to specialize in agriculture when he leaves school, and he has our best wishes. T. C. A., Junior Red Cross SPERDUTI Hendricken Tall, good looking, and always smiling, Armand is the quiet and modest type. He is the fellow who was happiest when there was no homework for the next day. He likes to work around cars, and bowling and collecting records are his pastime. He selects English and mechanical drawing as his favorite subjects.
