Sal, an active boy, divides his time between school and the Central Y. We are all sure, by the diligence with which he applies himself to his favorite subjects, mathematics and shop, that he will some day realize his ambition, that of becoming a technical engineer, Junior Recd Cross JERRY J. RUSSO Duggan No class would be complete without a lover and Bob, our genial G.l., is ours. He came to us a little after the school term began and immediately made himself one of the fellows. His jolly nature makes him a favorite with both the girls and boys. His favorite subjects are and English. Jerry used to play in a band before he the Army, and he is still a musician in his own right. to become a construction contractor when he finishes we give him our best wishes. A., School Orchestra, T. C. A. Dance Club, Junior Red Cross St. Thomas subjects are physics JOSEPH SALEMI Merriman mathematics and English heading the list of work, Joe does all right scholastically. A great sportsman, Joe excels in all out- door sports, especially in swimming. Automobiles, a hobby with Joe now, will be his chosen work after graduation. Junior Red Cross St. Mary's

T. C. A., Junior Red Cross, Business Manager Tech-O-Scope SALVATORE M. RECCHIA Sql Duggan Sal, that well-liked fellow from lO9, has ihe unusual ability to win friends easily. He has elected chemistry and English as his favorite subjects. Sal is very active in the field of sports, playing basketball, football, and also three years of varsity baseball. Sal's favorite pastime, reading the sports sheet in class, gets him quite a few punishment sessions. He hasn't made plans for the future yet, but we wish him all the success in the world. Baseball ANTHONY V. ROSA Tony Brain Kingsbury Tony, quiet, serious and hardworking, was the peacemaker of our class. Tony was tops at Kingsbury and the some here. His motto is Once you learn something hang on to it . He was'unafraid of work whether in the auto-mechanic shop or at a desk puzzling out a math or chemistry problem. So you see we wish him success when he goes on to college. Junior Red Cross, Glee Club, Radio Discussions, Tech Liber lco-editorl, T. C. A. Dance Club. T. C. A. EDMUND ROSA sa Walsh Ed is one of those boys who create an impression of being quiet, but soon prove to be extremely active. Ed does well in all his subjects but finds mechanical drawing and mathematics the most interesting. A standout basketball player, he was an asset to the school team for years. Outside of school, Ed's popularity has made him president of Karra Hi-Y. Ed's future is as yet undecided, but what- ever it is, he will succeed. Basketball Team, Junior Red Cross, T. C. A. MARIO S ROSATO Mar'! Merriman When Merriman lost Mar, Tech gained. Although Mar looks serious, he can be very humorous at times. His hobbies are playing all kinds of sports and reading books on sports. As his favorite subjects, Mar takes mathematics and shop. After graduation Mar plans to enter o training room and learn a trade.

FELICE M SANTOPIETRO NICHOLAS SAMELA Nick Driggs Nick, who seems to be on the quiet side, keeps much to himself. His favorite subjects are mathematics and chemistry and he has proven his ability in both. Baseball and basketball are his main pastimes. Nick's ambition is to be a toolmaker or to take up radio. T. C. A., Junior Red Cross P i Webster Phil can be seen at any hour of the day chewing gum and chatting away at a great speed. Likable Phil , one of our nurses to be , picks English, civics, and science as her favorite subjects. She is especially fond of basketball and was one of our best scorers. Phil plans to enter a nursing school and any patient that appreciates wit will welcome Phil as his nurse. MARIO SCARDETTI CARMELLA M. SANTORO Cormier Webster Shy, quiet, and friendly describe our friend, Carmie . She has proven herself to be talented in the line of dancing-especially the Hula , However, that is only one of the things that keeps Carmie occupied. The rest of her time is taken' up with designing clothes, collecting perfumes and well-you know! And now, all kidding aside, we'd like to wish Carmie the best of luck in her future dress designing career. T. C. A., L. L. A., Junior Red Cross Scar Slocum To those who don't know Scar, he may appear to be a quiet, almost silent young fellow, but this is as far from the truth as night is different from day. Although he's not a muscle man , he more than makes up for his stature with his quick wit and radiant per- sonality. ln school Scar favors electricity, and it is said, is a serious threat to the C. L. and P. Co. A great deal of Scar's leisure time is taken up with bowling and pool, in both of which he does well. Al- though his plans for the future are as yet vague, his flair for any- thing mechanicdl will probably help him in his search for success. T. C. A., Junior Red Cross
