Mechanical drawing is his favorite subject. His hobby is collecting badges. After graduating, John intends to go to college, and we all know he will reach his goal MICHAEL OPALAK, Jr. Mike Webster This quiet, unassuming fellow has made many friends at Tech. During his four yeors Mike went his way nonchalantly, not bothering anyone. Hunting, swimming, fishing, reading, and ice skating take up most of his spare time, while chemistry, math, ond auto-mechanics interest him in school. His warm smile has won him many friends during his four years at Tech. He picks English and economics as his favorite subjects. When it comes to bowling, Mike is tops. DONALD F. MURPHY Murph St. Francis Xavier Murph seems to be out to set a speed record by beating the bells to school. He leaves home as late as possible. Sometimes he makes it, sometimes he doesn't. Up to now it's a tie score. He spends his spare time collecting old coins and stamps. These col- lections are a source of pride to him. ln school his chief interest lies in mechanical drawing and printing. The latter is what he plans for his future work, Maybe we shall some day read a paper printed by our friend, Murph. Junior Red Cross ANTHONY R. MUSCO Slip B. W. Tinker Slip is the noisy fellow who is continually getting excused. He came to Leavenworth from Tinker and our teachers have not had a rest since. His favorite subjects are chemistry and English, his hobby is model airplane building. NARDIELLO Rocky Driggs Rocky, a serious-minded fellow who came to Leavenworth from Driggs, intends to enter a university and later to own and manage a sports retail store. FRANK PASSERELLI Clown St. Thomas That flash that streaks by you on the way to the cafeteria is' more than likely Clown, flying down to get some food. Besides eat- ing, his other hobby is collecting all the baseball and football books he can get. Clown is quite popular around Leavenworth for his jokes and monkeyshines. He favors English and economics, and hopes to become a good baseball player in the future. Bill's favorite subjects are mechanical draw- ing and history. In his spare time he likes to swim and drive. After graduation Bill plans to enter the Army Air Corp. Junior Red Cross, T. C. A. ROBERT W. PEKRUL PiCkel'el Hendricken Bob is a quiet, studious boy, who is known as the lamplighter, due to his great skill in holding a light while the boys work in auto- mechonics. Pickerel has a cute smile that some day may prove of value to him in winning the hand of some fair maid. He lists history and math as his favorite subjects along with auto-mechanics. He has no immediate plans for the future. Junior Red Cross DANIEL PERILLO Speed Webster There isn't a teacher or a pupil in Leavenworth that doesn't think Speed is tops. His favorite sport is football, at which he is also tops. His favorite habits are being late and not coming to school on Fridays. Speed plans to be a grinder when he gets out of school and we wish him all the luck in the world. Junior Red Cross
