FRANK A. MIRTO Mirt Walsh Mirt is the air-minded fiend from l2Al. He talks flying all day and dreams of it all night. Aeronautics and chemistry are his favorite subjects, while flying and model airplane building are his hobbies. He enlisted in the Army in February and hopes to make a career out of commercial flying. MouN WilI MoI Middlebury Will, a happy-go-lucky fellow with an unpredictable crop of hair, is never seen without his fabulous brief case. The knowledge Will gained while employed in the Scovill Photo Lab. has enabled him to make a success of his hobby, photography. He is everybody's right hand man in school and is constantly being sent on important missions. He's tops in studies, always wears a smile, due, we believe, to that mid-morning apple. He will enter Pratt and make good. He has a great interest in sports and is seen at most of the school's games. Hunting, fishing, and swimming are his favorite hobbies, while he places chemistry and math at the top of his list of favorite subjects. Junior Red Cross JOHN J. MRAZIK Jock St. Morgoret's Jack is a tall, smiling boy we usually see talking about sports in front of l07. His outstanding personality has made him popular at Tech. EDWARD J. MERCIER Ed Anderson An easy-going fellow, you will never find Ed hurrying to classes. He lists mathematics, chemistry, and auto mechanics as his favorite subjects. lf Mr. Downey is seen using hair dye it is usually because Ed has brought in another one of his contraptions. His favorite sports are skating and swimming, and in the summer you can always find him at the nearest lake. Ed plans to become an auto mechanic, and we wish him luck and success in this or any other field of work he chooses to follow. ANGELO MICALIZZI CharIie Slocum Charlie, a well-known boy of the Senior Class, may be seen through the hall, laughing and yelling and flirting with our little Freshmen girls. He is quite the beau, they say. He likes camping and dancing. Charlie was one of our football players. He intends to study electrical engineering at Pratt Institute. T. C. A. Chose The gal with the pleasing and happy-go-lucky disposition is surely a good way to describe Dee . She believes in having fun and it is her unusual sense of humor that keeps her classmates in a jovial mood. Dee's favorite subjects are English, Italian and chemistry. ln the line of sports, she enjoys swimming and basketball games. Her plans for the future are to become a laboratory technician or nurse, and we are confident that she will succeed in whichever career she chooses. Senior Dance Committee, T. C. A., L. DONALD F. MURPHY Murph St. Francis Xavier Murph seems to be out to set a speed record by beating the bells to school. He leaves home as late as possible. Sometimes he makes it, sometimes he doesn't. Up to now it's a tie score. He spends his spare time collecting old coins and stamps. These col- lections are a source of pride to him. ln school his chief interest lies in mechanical drawing and printing. The latter is what he plans for his future work, Maybe we shall some day read a paper printed by our friend, Murph. Junior Red Cross ANTHONY R. MUSCO Slip B. W. Tinker Slip is the noisy fellow who is continually getting excused. He came to Leavenworth from Tinker and our teachers have not had a rest since. His favorite subjects are chemistry and English, his hobby is model airplane building. His favorite subjects are mathematics and chemistry, his hobby is photography. He is one of the quiet boys of Tech and takes his schoolwork seriously. Joe intends to become a mechanical engineer, so here is luck to him. Junior Red Cross ROCCO A. NARDIELLO Rocky Driggs Rocky, a serious-minded fellow who came to Leavenworth from Driggs, intends to enter a university and later to own and manage a sports retail store.
