JOSEPH MAGARACI Dud Slocum We know Dud as a quiet boy with wavy hair. His favorite sub- jects are English and shop. He is ci carefree and sociable fellow. His work claims all of his time, for he is often seen studying or writing between classes. After graduation Dud plans to take up machine work or tool making, and knowing him as we do, we're sure he'll do his best in any line of machine work. Junior Red Cross JOSEPH MANCINI Ach Ach Bunker Hill Joe's heart and ambition are set in sports, especially baseball and football. He makes it his practice to attend baseball games and read sport books. He's also a good pitcher in English and mechanical drawing. Any time in the classroom when the word Mammie' comes up aloud, we know that Joe is present. Joe's future is not decided, but some day we hope he becomes a professional baseball player, because we know he will go far in that sport. Football, Baseball Junior Red Cross, T. C. A., T. C. A. Dance Club, Tech ALBERT J. MARCELLA AI HSI1100l'l Iu Driggs Al is the tall-tale teller of the class and the one who did the most for our class book. No matter how poor the story is, he tries to make a mountain out of a mole hill. His genial personality has made him one of the most popular boys in the Senior class. His favorite subjects are math, mechanical drawing, chemistry and physics while his hobbies are collecting records, also banners from all states. He plans to take up pharmacy in the future. Liber lco-editorl ARTHUR MARCIANO Art B. W. Tinker Tinker's loss was Leavenworth's gain when Art left grammar school to start the last lap of his education. However, Art would like to study journalism which might carry him further in his educa- tion. His hobbies are photography, horses, swimming, and hunting. He is also a member of the Glee Club. ROBERT LORTON Bob Woodrow Wilson Bob, or maybe better known around school as Morton Lorton , Leavenworth's Perry Como, has the great gift of knowing when to sing at the wrong time. But he always gets along with his buddies and is everybody's friend. Bob is an excellent football player but, due to an injury sustained as a freshman, he was unable to play for the remaining three years. Bob is taking up the plumbing trade and we think he'll make good. Football, Junior Red Cross ANTHONY J. LO RUSSO Tony Driggs Tony is the tall, well-dressed boy who can always be found strolling the first floor corridor. He finds his hobby of collecting stamps, old coins, and foreign money an interesting and active one. He still finds time, however, to devote to his studies, of which his favorites are mathematics and electricity. Tony's quick wit and pleasing smile have earned him many friends among the students of Leavenworth. We are sure that in years to come his willingness to progress is bound to aid him in achieving his ambition, that of be- coming a machinist or draftsman. T. C. A., Junior Red Cross I NICK D. LO RUSSO Crusher Driggs Nick has won many friends in his four years in Leavenworth because of his pleasing smile and warm personality. He has played four years Varsity football and, through his fine efforts, he has won a four year scholarship to Boston University. He chooses fishing and ice skating as his favorite' hobbies and mathematics as his favorite subject. He plans on going to college, and then making football his professional career. LO RUSSO Nick Driggs Nick's swell sense of humor and pleasant companionship have won him a firm place in the hearts of Leavenworth students. He favors auto mechanics as his subject and has quite a variety of hobbies which include hunting, fishing, and camping. His future ambition is to become a baker. He has hopes of managing his father's business some day. We all know he will be a success. T. C. A., Rifle Club, Junior Red Cross

THOMAS MASSIMO Tommy Woodrow Wilson Tommy is that broad-shouldered individual who dashes around the halls eager to reach his favorite subjects, mathematics and his- tory. Tommy has a rare sense of humor and can always be seen with a big smile on his face. His favorite hobby is archery, at which he spends most of his time. He would like to become a mechanical engineer after graduation and we all wish him the best of luck. Vice-President Senior Class, T. C. A., Secretary of T, C. A. H EN RY MASTRIAN NA Hank Duggan One of our tallest and handsomest seniors is Henry. He's a guy who sticks to his point in an argument, especially when it comes to baseball, his favorite sport. His future intentions are to help his father in the contracting business. Henry is sort of shy about the girls, but we notice so many eyeing him, we guess he'll just have to cooperate. A friend indeed is a friend in need , that's Henry. Junior Red Cross JOHN MATURO Johnny Duggan Johnny is a favorite among his classmates and is quite the ladies' man. Where there is a commotion Johnny is usually in the middle. He favors mathematics, mechanical drawing and shop. Johnny's pastime is dancing, and he does very well in basketball, spool, and ping pong. Johnny's ambition is to become an interior decorator, or a manager of a grocery store. T. C. A. Chairman, T. C. A. Bowling Club, Junior Red Cross, Tech Liber, Prom Committee, Spring Hop PATSY R. MAZZAMA RO Pat Slocum Pat is a handsome, serious-minded fellow, who is very popular with the opposite sex. Music and dancing, along with outdoor sports, occupy most of his free time. Pat's favorite subjects are chemistry and trigonometry, and he rates very high in both. He would like to go to Pratt and take up chemical engineering. T. C.
