:ll-our: Lou is one of Leavenworth's more serious students, who is seen but not heard , but is easily recognized by her ever ready smile. Aside from chewing her nails, reading is her hobby and art and chemistry are her favorite subjects. Lou enjoys skating and seeing basketball and football games. Her ambition is to become a nurse in the near future. Best of luck, Lou , f Tech-0-Scope, Senior Spring Hop Committee, T. C. A., L. L. A. LUCY M. LA PIO CHARLES LANZA Chorley Webster Charley, a very swell but talkative boy of room lll, may be seen in the halls laughing at one of his corny jokes. He is always picking an argument with fellows twice as big as he is. Charles loves hunting and fishing. He wishes to become a printer as soon as school is over. Lots of luck, Charley. J unior Red Cross Slocum RAYMOND LARIVIERE Ray i Russell Ray, a jolly fellow, has many friends throughout the school. Ray's favorite subjects are chemistry and mathematics. Out of school he enjoys playing baseball, and is said to be an excellent pool player. Ray intends to enter the restaurant business. We hope he keeps open house for the I947 boys. HOWARD NELSON LAWRENCE Chick Hendricken Chick is a well-liked fellow who can answer any question in sports. His favorite school subjects are chemistry and auto mechanics. His hobby is sports, which seem to come naturally to him. Chick believes that women are trouble. Of course we all have our own opinion. Chick hasn't any plans for the future as yet, but we know that he will succeed ot anything he undertakes. T. C. A. Junior Red Cross, T. C. A.

r ROBERT L. KNOWLTON George Shepardson George has come out of the woods of Middlebury every morning for the past four years, and we hate to see the tall, husky, even- tempered lad leave us. His hobbies are, of course, hunting and fish- ing, but his ambition is to be a mechanic, His favorite subjects are mathematics, English and history. Junior Red Cross GEORGE KNAUF Knob Hendricken Tough as they come, but quiet, is George. Collecting foreign money is his favorite hobby. l-le's also a great outdoor sportsman, with baseball his first choice. George's chemistry and woodworking are splendid. His future ambition is to go to California-what for, we don't know. HAR RY KOBZAR Teddy-Bear Walsh Among the shy and bashful Seniors, here is Harry. His future ambition is to enter a baker's school, because he's been at it for some time now, and it seems to agree with him, The nickname Teddy-Bear, was derived from his chubby physique. Harry has majored in economics, chemistry and English. Well, as long as Harry's going to be a baker, we hope he gets in the dough some day. Junior Red Cross, T. C. A. PAULINE ANNE LAMOUREUX Paul H. S. Chase A pretty smile has identified Paul throughout her Leaven- worth career. Paul is always happy and never worries too long over one thing. Her favorite sports are dancing, swimming, and basketball. She has chosen chemistry and physics as the subjects most interesting to her. Paul enjoys sewing and collecting records. We feel that she will be successful in her career as a dressrnaker. T. C. A., L. L. A., Junior Red Cross, Senior Harvest Dance Committee

ARTHUR LEARY, Jr. Art Barnard Here we have Art, one great fellow. What keeps him happy and full of energy is one of the mysteries of the world. Nothing seems to get him down. He is one of the happiest fellows we have the pleasure of knowing. During his spare time you can find him play- ing at billiards, bowling, or swimming. In school English and history are his favorite subjects. For his future work Art plans to enter the field of electricity. Junior Red Cross KENNETH R. LESLIE Les East Farms Les is six foot three and rather a shy fellow, Swimming and skating are his favorite outdoor sports and we know he is quite good at both. Les is also good at both wrecking ,and repairing autos. Aeronautics is at the top of his list of favorite subjects. He has no immediate plans for the future. Junior Red Cross JUDSON LEWIS Jud H. S. Chase Jud is one of the quiet boys of Tech, but this dldn't stop him from winning a solid place in the hearts of Tech students. His favorite subject is machine shop. His hobbies are hunting, Qshing and bowling. Jud hasn't any future plans, but we all know that whatever he decides to do he will master. ROBERT H. LINK Bob Woodrow Wilson Bob is a studious, red headed fellow with a Pepsodent smile His favorite subjects are math, chemistry and mechanical drawing. You might think he is a quiet fellow by the fact that he would rather spend his evenings tusseling with a tough trig problem than to be out on a date with a girl, but his voice has the ability to travel all over the room even when he should be quiet. We wish him success in his ambition to become a surveyor. Junior Red Cross, Radio Discussions, Tech Liber
