JAMES KANE ALFRED KACHERGIS AI Barnard Al is a tall, lanky senior who has a keen sense of humor and a sunny happy, air about him. His biggest interest in school is English and machine shop. His favorite hobbies are fishing, swimming, and golf. He hopes to own a golf course some day and we know he will succeed because of his initiative. Junior Red Cross, T. C. A., Class Room Treasurer Stretch St. Mary's Stretch, who came to us from St. Mary's School, has a shy, quiet appearance, but is always ready with a witty remark for every oc- casion. His favorite subject is auto-mechanics, and he likes driving new cars. Stretch plans to be a mechanic upon completion of school, and we wish him the best of luck. Junior Red Cross ELIZABETH ANN KEYSER Betty Washington Betty is the beautiful blonde who is always eager for a good time. She sees the funny side of everything, which is one reason for her popularity. Betty enjoys dancing, horseback riding and collecting salt shakers. Her favorite subjects are chemistry and history, Betty would like to take a course in X-Ray at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mass. Her many friends here at Tech wish her the best of luck. T. C. A., L. L. A., Junior Red Cross SHIRLEY MAE KILBORN ShirI Russell Tall, stotuesque Shirl may be seen strolling around the halls with a friendly smile and a pleasant manner. English and civics are her favorite subjects. As active in outside interests as she is in school, Shirl lists swimming and dancing as her favorite sports. She col- lects miniature horses and other animals. To fulfill her ambition to become a business woman she plans to enter Post Junior College in the fall. Best of luck, Shirl . T. C. A., L. L. A., T. SALVATORE IERONIMO Sol Slocum Sal is the likable chap who helped Mr. Kilbourn with his trigonometry this year. Sal excels in mathematics and he also likes shop and English. As president of the Bowling Club, he did very well and his help was greatly appreciated. Drawing comics and cole lecting sport books take up a lot of his time. Sal would like to own a grocery stare, and we feel it he takes as much interest in that as he took in the Bowling Club, he will surely succeed. T. C. A., President of Bowling Club, Junior Red Cross, Glee DOROTHY E. IMPERATO Dottie Chatterbox Maloney Dottie is a serious lassie by nature and puts the best into her school work and outside activities. Her favorite subiects are Latin, Math, and chemistry. Dottie enjoys outdoor life, dancing and singing. She hopes to enter St. Joseph's College and later Har- vard Medical College. We are sure she will succeed. T. C. A., L. L. A., Bowling Club, Red Cross, Senior Dance Committee, Tech-O-Scope Club, Treasurer of T. C. A. THOMAS A INSERO Tommy Slocum Tom's wonderful personality and cheerful smile have won him countless friends. He is also a very studious and serious person. His favorite subjects are mathematics, chemistry, and English, while his hobbies are woodcraft, photography and sports. He plans to be- come an automobile mechanic WILLIAM H EN RY JOH NS Henry Henry came to Leavenworth straight from Virginia. He is a studious boy and has an extra liking for chemistry and shop practice. Playing pool, swimming, and baseball are his favorite sports. Henry plans to become an electrical engineer, in which he no doubt will succeed. Junior Red Cross

r ROBERT L. KNOWLTON George Shepardson George has come out of the woods of Middlebury every morning for the past four years, and we hate to see the tall, husky, even- tempered lad leave us. His hobbies are, of course, hunting and fish- ing, but his ambition is to be a mechanic, His favorite subjects are mathematics, English and history. Junior Red Cross GEORGE KNAUF Knob Hendricken Tough as they come, but quiet, is George. Collecting foreign money is his favorite hobby. l-le's also a great outdoor sportsman, with baseball his first choice. George's chemistry and woodworking are splendid. His future ambition is to go to California-what for, we don't know. HAR RY KOBZAR Teddy-Bear Walsh Among the shy and bashful Seniors, here is Harry. His future ambition is to enter a baker's school, because he's been at it for some time now, and it seems to agree with him, The nickname Teddy-Bear, was derived from his chubby physique. Harry has majored in economics, chemistry and English. Well, as long as Harry's going to be a baker, we hope he gets in the dough some day. Junior Red Cross, T. C. A. PAULINE ANNE LAMOUREUX Paul H. S. Chase A pretty smile has identified Paul throughout her Leaven- worth career. Paul is always happy and never worries too long over one thing. Her favorite sports are dancing, swimming, and basketball. She has chosen chemistry and physics as the subjects most interesting to her. Paul enjoys sewing and collecting records.
