lowing the construction field. LUCY B. GARRO Lou Maloney Lou is the quiet girl with the ebony hair who is never idle. Her favorite subjects are chemistry, English and art, in which she excels. l.ou's spare time is given to studying, reading, and listening to symphonies. She would like to go to college and then become a foreign missionary. We feel that Lou can be successful in anything she undertakes. Tech-O-Scope, Tech Liber, Asst. A., Junior Red Cross MATTHEW GEN UA Tiny Webster Matthew, better known as Tiny, is a good-natured boy who grad- uated from Webster School. A studious boy, he enjoys mathematics and shop practice most. Tiny has had a hand in bringing the movies to the fellows of Leavenworth, he intends to become a movie pro- jectionist. From what we can see, we know he will make the grade. Junior Red Cross if RAYMOND GARASSINO Ray East Mountain Ray, our hard working, hard hitting Marine collected seventy one and one-half points in his first three years at Leavenworth then enlisted in the Marines for two years This means his diploma in June. Ray is interested in sports likes all his subiects and did well in them, After his two years are up Ray plans an college or fol Varsity Football, Junior Red Cross T C A EDWARD GEDRAITIS Ed seems to be a shy, quiet fellow but just ask any of the boys who go around with him. His friends know they can rely on Ed for a good time, he's never in a bad mood and is always ready for anything that comes along. During his spare time he likes to play any outdoor sport, his favorites are hunting and fishing I school his favorite subjects are English and mathematics As for his future, Ed told us he plans to make the most of any opportunity that comes his way. DOUGLAS FRENCH Douglas Hopeville Douglas comes to us from Hopeville School. He is a good- natured fellow, and is well liked by his classmates. He favors mathe- matics and sheet metal as his subjects. His future ambition is to become on automobile mechanic, and we all know that he will succeed in this field. ROBERT GABAREE Bob Duggan ln his four years with us, Bob has made many friends with his laughing smile, whenever he's around worries disappear. His favorite subjects are English and mathematics, and in leisure hours he likes to swim and take part in other outdoor sports. Bob's am- bition is to own his own trucking business some day. Junior Red Cross RAYMO N D GAGAI N ROY St.Tl1omos One of our handsomest and most intelligent students is Ray. He intends to be an accountant, We are sure he will make good in this field because mathematics and economics are two of Ray's best subjects. Tinkering with cars and outdoor sports make up his hobbies. On account of his pleasing personality and friendliness, we are sure Ray will get along very well in this world. Junior Red Cross DONATO GONILLO Don Slocum One of the many veterans who decided to return to school after leaving the service, Don quickly made his presence felt at Tech. Although guilty of being tardy a great deal, Don does well in mathe- matics and economics. His hobbies include horseback riding and photography, with a generous amount of sports mixed in. Don's forceful nature leads him to want a business of his own. Junior Red Cross

ANTHONY J. GlUSTlNlANl Babe Driggs Babe is a happy-go-lucky guy, who has a large grin and a joke for every occasion. His hearty laughter and keen sense of humor make him an outstanding member of his class, Babe enjoys good music and collects records. He can always be found with the crowd at the T. C. A. dances. His favorite subjects are chemistry and economics. Babe's ambition is to be a tin-smith and heating engineer. Editor-in-Chief, Tech-O-Scope-1946, Junior Red Cross, T. C. A. RICHARD GUGLIEMETTI Dick South School, Oakville Dick comes to us from Watertown High. He is Watertown's loss and our gain. During his short stay at Tech he has won many friends and has become quite a printer. Dick picks fishing and coin collecting as his favorite hobbies. Among his favorite subjects English rates highest. He plans to become an insurance salesman after finishing school. Here's lots of luck and happy collecting, Dick. T. C. A.. Junior Red Cross MARY H. GUGLIOTTI Little Mary Webster Shy, Little Mary makes friends easily and is well liked by both boys and girls. She 'finds history and math her favorite subjects. Mary enjoys all kinds of sports, especially skating and basketball. She plans to make nursing her career and traveling her pastime. We hope her plans will materialize. He left Tech in May, l943, to serve in the Navy for 34 months. He returned to Leavenworth a senior last September and soon became popular. Math and drafting are his favorite subjects while hunting and fishing occupy some of his spare time, Ben hopes to make use of his best abilities and become o draftsman. Keep on smiling, Ben. T. C. A., Rifle Team, Tech Hi-Y.
