DOUGLAS FRENCH Douglas Hopeville Douglas comes to us from Hopeville School. He is a good- natured fellow, and is well liked by his classmates. He favors mathe- matics and sheet metal as his subjects. His future ambition is to become on automobile mechanic, and we all know that he will succeed in this field. ROBERT GABAREE Bob Duggan ln his four years with us, Bob has made many friends with his laughing smile, whenever he's around worries disappear. His favorite subjects are English and mathematics, and in leisure hours he likes to swim and take part in other outdoor sports. Bob's am- bition is to own his own trucking business some day. He intends to be an accountant, We are sure he will make good in this field because mathematics and economics are two of Ray's best subjects. Tinkering with cars and outdoor sports make up his hobbies. On account of his pleasing personality and friendliness, we are sure Ray will get along very well in this world. Junior Red Cross DONATO GONILLO Don Slocum One of the many veterans who decided to return to school after leaving the service, Don quickly made his presence felt at Tech. Although guilty of being tardy a great deal, Don does well in mathe- matics and economics. His hobbies include horseback riding and photography, with a generous amount of sports mixed in. RICHARD S. FORD Henry Russell Henry left us at the end of the third year to do his bit for Uncle Sam and see the world. He served in the E. T. O. and saw active service in France, Holland, and Germany. His unit built the first Bailey bridge over the Rhine at Remagen. After service in Europe he was sent to Australia and other Pacific ports. l-le was discharged March 4 and re-enrolled at Leavenworth to- complete his course and get ready for his future work. up Frenchie. FRANCESCHINI Jean Washington Good things come in small packages was made to order for Jean , Here is a rather quiet, but very active little miss whose broad smile has won her a place in our hearts. Jean's favorite subjects are English and science and her hobby is collecting snap- shots. After graduation Jean plans to study business administration at Post College. Her favorite subjects are chemistry, English and art, in which she excels. l.ou's spare time is given to studying, reading, and listening to symphonies. A., Junior Red Cross MATTHEW GEN UA Tiny Webster Matthew, better known as Tiny, is a good-natured boy who grad- uated from Webster School. A studious boy, he enjoys mathematics and shop practice most. Tiny has had a hand in bringing the movies to the fellows of Leavenworth, he intends to become a movie pro- jectionist. From what we can see, we know he will make the grade. Junior Red Cross if RAYMOND GARASSINO Ray East Mountain Ray, our hard working, hard hitting Marine collected seventy one and one-half points in his first three years at Leavenworth then enlisted in the Marines for two years This means his diploma in June.
