nAngieu Happy-go-lucky Angie is liked by all her classmates. She enjoys watching Leavenworth's athletic teams and lists dancing and ice skating as he' favorite sports. Angie has a fondness for arguing, especially with her pals Jean and Cippy . Chemistry and art are her favorite subjects. DE ANGELIS Lefty D.A. si. Thomas Lefty, rather handsome and dapper, is popular with everyone who knows him, as his spontaneous wit keeps him in the midst of events. D.A. enjoys hunting, fishing, and dancing. His favorite subjects are chemistry, art, and mechanical drawing. He desires to distinguish himself as a building contractor in the future. CROCETTA Dolly - Angie Anderson Vivacious is the word that fits Dolly to a T , Her hearty laugh and cheery smile have turned many a head, thus winning her many friends. When Dolly came to Leavenworth, she had a definite goal in sight and that was to become a nurse. Her favorite subjects are English, anatomy, chemistry, and art and her hobby is collecting Frank Sinatra records. Dolly hopes to train at the Waterbury Hospital School of Nursing, and we know that with her looks and disposition, she can't help but succeed. A., Junior Red Cross, Tech Liber Washington ANTHONY DAMELIO BIRCH Maloney f ln class Butch is a auiet, shy fellow who concentrates on his studies, but as soon as he gets on the basketball court, you recognize him as one of the fellows that brought the New England champion- ship to Tech. Besides playing Varsity Basketball for three years, he also plays a good game of baseball. Butch's ambition is to be- come a tinsmith and we know he will come through in that also. JOHN A. COLUCCI J0lIlIhy Merriman Johnny, a fellow that is well liked by everyone, enjoys baseball, football, and boxing. He has selected mathematics and chemistry as his favorite subjects. Johnny's studious and attentive ways rank him high in the eyes of the teachers. Johnny's ambition is to become a first class toolmaker. Good luck, Johnny, T. C. A., Junior Red Cross, Tech Liber CARMELA J. COMO DoIIy Slocum Happy-go-lucky Dolly is the envy of all the girls with her originally designed clothes. She excels in all things requiring an artistic eye such as drawing, sewing, designing, and mechanical drawing, Dolly's attention in school goes to chemistry and, of course, sewing. We know she will go right to the top in her chosen profession, designing. She is planning to attend the Modern School of Fashion and Design in Boston, Mass. CORDEAU Bob St. Ann's Bob, a favorite with everybody, especially with the girls, has made good use of his four years here. He will walk out of here not only with his many friends, but with a wide knowledge that will help him choose his job wisely. CORDERO Rg5ie Moloney We shall all remember petite Rosie and her enthusiastic participation in all activities. Her dancing feet and happy smile make her welcome anywhere. She is particularly interested in sewing and chemistry. The extent of Rosie's popularity became evident when she was elected secretary of our senior class. AUGUSTINE DEIMANTAS Diamonds St. Joseph's Diamonds, a popular boy in roam l ll, may always be seen with his nose in a chemistry book. His favorite subiects are mathematics, English and economics. He likes to collect coins. Whenever you want to see him, he may be found ata basketball court, in a bowling alley, or on a golf court. His ambition is to see the world. Well, we, the Senior class, wish him a lot of luck in the field he chose. T. C. A., Junior Red Cross l RALPH G. DESCHINO Desch Woodrow Wilson Ralph is a jolly, fun-loving, noisy type of fellow. He is a boy of cheerful yesterdays and confident tornorrows. ln the field of learning his favorite subjects are math, chemistry, and electricity, while fishing, rowing, and baseball keep him busy outside of school. He plans either to enter some technical college or learn some suitable trade. Junior Red Cross ALFRED M. DIXON Al St. Ann's Al is a quiet and serious fellow who has an ability to be late 98 out of lOO days of school. He lists chemistry and mechanical drawing as his favorite subjects, and his hobby is building model planes and trains. His plans for the future are indefinite, but he wants to work hard while he is young, so that he may retire in 20 or 30 years and live a life of ease. T. C. A., Junior Red Cross ANNA DONOFRIO Red East Farms How appropriate is Ann's nickname and her red hair is the secret envy of every girl. She has won countless friends through her cheerful, sunny disposition. Red enjoys dancing, hiking, and singing. Chemistry and English are her favorite subjects.
