7ech Aim 'Aff BASKETBALL Although not very successful during the past year, the basket- ball squad has had high spirits. They met some strong teams and fought vigorously to defeat them. People will say they lost because they were no good. Well, we know for a fact that these boys are all good ball players but, the class A competition given by various strong teams was too great for the Tech basketeers. Next year the basketball team will lose this year's captain and co-captain, Tom Caisse and Nick Santopie-tro, but we feel sure Mr. Tracy can find men to equal them, and if he does, Tech will turn out another team that will go in fighting, no matter how great the odds. Again this year, both Mr. Tracy and the team should be com- plimented on their splendid showing. The teams the Tech squad met were as follows: 10 ,...,....,,. 7m ffm 'fff INTRA-CLASS BASKETBALL With Varsity Captain Tom Caisse at the helm and doing a fine job, the Senior basketball team came through to defeat the other class teams for the championship of the lntra-class League. Although the boys on this team were unable to make the Varsity team, they organized a team in the Senior class and entered the Intra- class League. Of course, the Seniors weren't the only team in this leagueg there were also Juniors, Sophomore and Freshmen who tried their best to defeat the Seniors, but failed to do so because of the Seniors' splendid team work.
