-e 7604 Jaw '41 J RIFLE CLUB The Leavenworth Rifle Club under the guidance of Mr. Kenneth Smith has completed another year of victory. The Techmen ranked second in New England and first in Connecticut, having been de- feated by the crack Xavier High School of New York City by a margin of one point. The Techmen, piloted by Bob Synott and John Sher- will, aided in putting their team in 12th place in the United States National Rifie Association matches, being second in Connecticut. Much credit goes to Jack Sherwill and Bob Synott, who helped for four years to make the Leavenworth Rifle Team rank among the highest. 4 Leavenworth has produced one indoor and two State outdoor champions. A handsome trophy now adorns the main hall of Leaven- worth, showing the accomplishments of the rifle team.
