He meets up with Nancy QAnn Parsons, and Anne fFay Jonesl, who with their colored maid Posie fSharon Brown, have come to take over the hotel. Beth fKay Westj has taken the girls under her watchful e e. Y Mrs. Sprool QGreselda Strasnerj with her daughter Lena Uoyce Moorej discover the sheriff fRoger Van Brocklinl with his side-kicks Hoot Owl Pete fGary Dymentj and his not too bright friend Stinkweed fLenard Larson, trying to frame Ambrose whom they have mistaken as Homer the Kid. It all ends out almost alright though, Posie finallygets Dan'l fNile Reesel the colored butler at the hotel to marry her, Ambrose catches the coroks, but he doesn't get the heroine. Bert loves Nancy and so Am- brose ends up with Anne. Under the direction of Miss Joy Ashton and assisted by Karen Estabrook the play proved to bea success in both performances.
