BASKETBALL The Grizzlie squad won only a few games, but theywere a spirited and hard trying group that fought their hardest till the finish of the game to bring home a win for Leavenworth. At the end of the Basketball season the Grizzlies pushed hard to gain admission into the county tournament, and they again pushed hard after they had won entrance, but only to lose by a few points. In the game with Peshastin they lost by only 6 points: 21-I5, and again the in Manson game they lost by only a few points 48-51, but the strategy used in the two games were not only unique but also a bit comical to watch.
