Absent: Jean Borden, Karen Flint. Future Nurses' Club The Future Nurses' Club has been active this year. The girls enjoyed a field trip to Willard State Hospital. For their Christmas project the girls decided to help with one community project. The club is now planning an assembly program. To be an eligible member of this club a girl must be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior and must have some intention of becoming a nurse. Absent: Diane Scholttman, secretary-treasurer. 54 Future Teachers' Club The Calla Green Club of the Future Teachers of America was named for one of Wolcott's most beloved and respected teachers, who taught some of our present members in the second or third grade. Because the need for good teachers is constantly growing more serious, the Calla Green Club is doubly useful. It enables students to learn something about the work and rewards of various kinds of teaching and by this means brings new talent to future faculties of the na- tion's schools.

A dvisor This year the Student Council, in addition to supervising and sponsoring annual projects, such as Student Day, Fall Elections, March of Dimes Campaign, and the Halloween Party, has taken up three new projects. One was the foreign exchange program, which because of a lack of housing facilities, could not be put into effect this year. The other two projects are the revising of the Student Council con- stitution, which is done every four years, and the building of a permanent hot-dog stand planned for this spring. E
