Her neighbors, however, being just ordinary people, became so irritated at such that one of them finally said in disgust: Honestly, Granny, I believe you'd say something good about the devil. The old woman was silent for a moment and then she chuckled, Well, you've got to admit that he's a persistent cusslv IKE the old woman we too admire the devil's persistency if nothing else about him. In fact, we admire it so much that We like to adopt it as a human trait. It may take prodding, pushing, driving to keep our persistency alive, but Without it We get nowhere. Without that prodding many of us would never have reached the first rung of the ladder of educational success, much less the second, and the third, and at last the top.
