'X rv A ' I.: 9 4, BHIGAUIERS HONOR CARDINALS On Thursday evenin5, November 29, the Maroon Brijadiers honored the League City High School football boys with a formal banquet at 7 o'clock. The program began with an invocation by Herbert Medsger. Dolly Farrow, the announcer, introduced each speaker. Following this Lhry Frances Hazzard interviewed the players. Then Jimmy Brooks, the sports page reporter, gave his reports. While Hewman Hood and Josephine Cooke rendered the Dreams of an Athlete Cmuslcal numbersb, the main course was served. After the meal the sports columnist, Lw. V. J. Bobo, gave some interesting comments. Then there was a dash of pep ---- Newman playing the saxophone--Josephine Cooke accompanying him at the piano. Mr. A.B. LeFevre, coach of the squad, brought a timely message on H Hu1es.u The evening was cl Captain and Co-captain of quet group. The honor of captain, Ralph Aldape.
