Suddenly strange scenes began to appear before our eyes We had been transported to the year 1972! The League C1ty of yesteryear 13 hardly reeogniz able The business dlstrict has shown a great increase just as has the res1dential section and school The school now covers an area of 3 city blocks W enter the building and find a teacher on hall duty Why, it's none other than Sammie Wilklnson, who has been coaching here for nine years Say, who do we have herev He looks fam1liar but we can't seem to place him. Ah! Yes, new we remember It's Carroll Jenkins Harris, Jr , new superintendent of that good old League City School! Ruth Osterman, after a gay and giddy youth, has finally settled down and has a family of four, three of when are in grammar school. - The scene changes new and it seems there has been a large hospital built where the lovely little Eity park was 50 years ago.
