A new year, a new decade a new generation, yet all reflecting many of the same images as those a century before. Changes-yes, of course, each in its own turn reflecting new ideas and new atti- tudes, And yet, always containing a mo- ment from the past. The gaining of an ag. teacher and FFA ad- viser was a pleasant surprise. Mr. Cornelius helped us tre- mendously throughout the year, advising and prompting us through the many con- tests and activities. We have had many accomplishments: 2nd place in both parlimen- tary procedure and bowling, 3rd place in the Section 1 basketball tournament. The following members were on the winning team: Dave Myers, Kris Kappenman, Barry Maxwell, Dan Green, Dan Poggioli, Kenny Dil- beck, Jay Long, Tim Stocker, and Scott Gentz. Also, 4th place in the Section 1 live- stock judging contest and 6th place in dairy judging were received. The FFA gained a close 2nd place in the Section 1 mechanics contest. The year ended with 10 members attending the 1982 State FFA Convention. Ev- eryone had a good time. As a chapter we are looking for- ward to even better things in the year to come. Leadership Pres.
