“Are Teachers Human?” The Directors Are Teachers Human? is a situation comedy in three acts. It is the story of the new English teach, Arbutis Meadows, and the new principal, Edward Fowler, as they struggle through their first year at their new jobs. A few of the problems which beset them are a dominating school board president, C. Solomon Stone, and his daughter, Dolores, who is also a teacher and decides to marry Mr. Fowler, whether he wants to or not. There is also a play in free verse which Miss Meadows struggles to produce over the objections of Mr. Stone, and in spite of the be- wildered and inept student actors and actresses. The efforts of Mr. Fowler and Miss Meadows to do their jobs and survive provides high good humor. Congratulations to the juniors on a job well done. Gee, Miss Meadows. That bad, huh. Junior Play 19
