Don’t Take My Penny STANDING: Mrs. Dunbar, Becky Cook, Shirley Poole, Janell Blobaum, Scott Schreiber, Marilyn Butterbaugh, Ron Kilker, Martha Kahly, SEATED: Janice Engle, Julynn Greenfield, Julie Hage- mann, Cathy Baker, Cindy Kretsinger, SEAT- ED ON FLOOR: Jon Dirk- sen, Steve Capes, Dick Mayberry, Randy Schelling. Come on, Dearie ! The Sr. Class Play, the first on our new stage, brought down 'Holy Hail' as the actors shouted their last few lines above a raging storm. The star—Julynn as Penny, was so sure that the famous Harrison day— her boyfriend, Kerry, in disguise, would choose her as the ideal Dimity West for the part in his motion pic- ture. The real surprise comes when her sister—Mavis is chosen for the part by the real Harrison Day. Backstage Cut it out! Pulling won't help. Will it be straight? 23

Assemblies The students at L. R. H. S. enjoyed many fine assemblies this past year. For the most part the audiences were very attentive and showed much interest and respect toward the individual performers. The types of assemblies were extremely varied, going from a blind gymnist, to a man who played three instruments simultaneously, to one on atomic energy, on sound, to a black singer, and to an Irish trio which seemed to make the best hit with the female students. Each performance not only was interesting but very informative as well. 25
