In this dramatization, the Yankee from Connecticut is a young engineer just out of college and anxious to try his hand at every kind of mechanical device. He is knocked out cold by one of his experiments and wakes up to find him- himself in the Court of King Arthur. From then on, the striking con- trasts between the old and the new develop into a series of ludicrous events, with just a small undercurrent of elemental truths. Through the influence of the enterprising young engineer, King Arthur's Court has become modernized, but the engineer finds himself in hot water.
