Spirit This year eight new amendments were added to the SOS constitution, indicating the growth of this active club. The most talked about amendment dealt with the required attendance except at eight games through- out the year. This lead to the choosing of an advisory board including representatives from each class, the three officers, and a member to represent the boys. At Homecoming the SOS carried out the traditional decoration of the goal posts and making a Cardinal effigy. For money-making projects the club sold mums at Homecoming and made booths for Spook Night in March. Cherie Schuz was chosen the new Demon Mascot and performed routines at home basketball games. This year the club presented a uniform appearance which gave a good impression of the school. At every game a large number of loyal fans came to cheer and frequent comments were made on the good school spirit shown. SOS set a new record in game attendance due largely to the fact that a spectator bus was taken to every game away from home and the addition of boys to the club. Never had we seen so much spirit aroused in our student body! O. L. CAPES Plumbing and Heating Leaf River, Illinois Compliments to the Class of 68 DEE DEE'S CAFE Leaf River 28

... Unity . .. Loyalty The Demon Club reached its highest goal, the purchase of a trampoline, in a very active year. It is already being used extensively in all P.E. classes. To raise the money the club sold Demon pins, had cookie sales, and sponsored a faculty VS Old Timers game. The G.A.A. contributed $100. The successful year was due in large part to the officers: David Wehmeyer, Pres; Bob Gallup, V. Presj Gary Fogle, Sec.-Treasj Allen Butterbaugh, Sergeant of Arms. Mr. Block and Mr. Fry, advisers, should be given credit for motivating the Club to so many accomplishments. Tom, Dick, and Harry! FRONT ROW: S. Lancaster, R. Conkey, J. Birkholz, S. Penn, G. Wood, R.
