You, the Jury Sheila Vincent--South Broad Street BUT IT'S TRUE ISN'T IT? THERE'S NO QUESTION ABOUT IT SURPRISE WITNESS . . . The Seniors had a new problem in producing their class play. Since the regular stage was made into a class- room, they had to make their own stage in the gym, but with creative minds and willing help a stage was finally assembled. Meanwhile the cast prac- ticed and slaved every night learning lines and preparing for the final production on April 26. That date rolled around all too soon. Getting last minute costumes, learn- ing last minute lines, and making sure the stage was ready went into that last hectic week. As the lights dimmed, butterflies were calmed and the Senior class produced the courtroom drama YOU, THE JURY to their waiting au- dience. Dream Our theme of A Cinderellan Dream provided many ideas for the Juniors as they planned the Junior-Senior Prom for May 4. Daytime activities held at the Wagon Wheel in Rockton, Illinois, included swimming, bowling, ice-skating, golf, horseback riding and sightseeing. It was topped off with a program and a smorgasbord banquet. The dance was held at the Bertolet Building from 8:30-11:30. The band played from inside Cinderella's coach. A garden scene provided the serenity of a ballroom and refreshments were served from a walk-in turret. Memory is . . . OUR WONDERFUL 1968 PROM!
