Hopes were high for a beautiful Homecoming week- end--fair weather and lots of SPIRIT. Our hopes were shattered when huge snow flakes and Mr. Cold came in. Despite the bad weather our SPIRIT was still at a peak in our student body. Throughout the week students wore school colors, painted bright blue and white banners, decorated for the dance, perfected skits and gathered fire wood for the Pep Rally bonfire. At the pre-game rally, balloons were launched with the traditional GO DEMONS--GO! The seniors won an award for their skit, Demonman to the rescue. The Demons began their struggle for a victory, but the Forreston Cards managed to push through the De- mon line for a 27--20 victory. A dance and royalty coronation followed the game. Excitement mounted as to who would be crowned as the reigning couple. Accenting the theme, SIGHT YOUR GOAL, there was suspended a huge, sparkling silver star. Students, faculty and alumni danced to the music of the Jacques. Jeannie Patterson and Rob Gallup were crowned our royal couple. A special song was dedicated to a lovely Homecoming Queen Jeanie and a handsome King Bob. Homecoming 1967 is a cherished memory. FRONT ROW: Linda Jenkins, Sharri Davis, Joe Grove, Tom Mulford.
