Text from Pages 1 - 76 of the 1962 volume:

The Senior Class of 1962 Presents the Le-Ri-Co Administration To 1962 Graduates The true values of life are not the material things which can be measured in dollars and cents. Material things have no true value. The real value of anything depends on viewpoint. The things we do cannot offset the things we leave undone. It is not how much you do, but how well you do them. The greater values must always be foremost in our lives--a good reputation; a clear conscience; a peaceful heart; a trained and well-filled mind; satisfaction from a duty well done; faith in the out- come of right; well-adjusted social relationships and the knowledge of having made others happy. These are the values in life which make for true and lasting happiness. Best wishes I Compliments of M M SUPER MARKET Highway 64, Mt. Morris 4 LAWTON DAIRY CO. These men and women freely and ungrudgingly donate their time and energy to the welfare of this school. They skillfully set the policies and handle the financial problems that arise. Plastic book covers were purchased and put on sale; mums were sold for Homecoming. The boys (even they were industrious) made pen- nants and sold them. A new idea was initiated--a card section. 20 of the 85 members welcome the visiting rivals with card formations. No one could deny that the Pep Club is a vital part of our school's sports activities. The student body accepted the idea of a mitten tree with great enthusiasm. The mittens were sent to a Korean orphanage. The Student Council knew that they had a very difficult task ahead of them, but everyone did his part and has made it another successful year.
