You Light Up My Life . . . was the name chosen by the Juniors for their 1978 Prom, held on May 6 from 8:30 to 11:00 p.m. in the new gym. The color scheme for Prom was light green and yellow. After three months of hard work, the juniors put together the scene for the faculty, board members, seniors, juniors and their dates to dance the night away to the music of Slip Stream. Following the dance, from 12:00 to 3:30, there was skating at Skatin' Place for afterprom.
