Teacher . . . Advisor . . . Coach . . . Friend . . . These qualities only partially describe the recipient of the 1975 High School Dedication. Because of his devotion to working with us and watching us progress through our Junior and Se- nior High School years, he has gained the respect, admira- tion, and affection of us all. Having been an advisor of our class for the past six years, numerous opportunities arose for him to have personal contact with each of us. As a result, he has become more of a friend than a teacher. Cleaning up after Friday night football games, chaperoning fun-nights, working hard at the Chicken Barbeque, and planning dances are a few of the many and varied responsibilities he has as- sumed. He has a certain magnetism about him that encour- ages students to voluntarily participate in activities, both in and out of school. During his eight years at Le Roy, he has also been ac- tive in the athletic program as Head Coach of the Junior Var- sity Basketball and Assistant Coach of the Junior Varsity Football teams. In these two positions, he personally demon- strated the qualities of fair play, good sportsmanship, and leadership which he has indelibly impressed on all the mem- bers of his teams.
