Since the population has increased so 5j rapidly, our present school system could in no way accommodate its jj students. ln order to alleviate the pro- 'l blem of overcrowdedness, many pro- f posals were considered, e.g. split ses- if sions, year round school or half-day F sessions. Out of the many solutions weighed by the Board of Education, it the one adopted was a new school.
