ALMIQRON XYILCOX Mr. Wilcox has been a, member of the Board for five years and this year he is secretary of the Library Board. He is also owner and oper- ator of a farm on the Circle Hill Road. SIDNEY D. O,S1u5,x Mr. O'Shea has been a member of the Board of Education since 1934, a period of 20 years and this year he is president of the group. Mr. O'Shea is a building contractor in our community. RALPH L. JENNER Mr. Jenner has served on the Board for six years and this year he is president of the Li- brary Board. He is president of the Lapp Insulator Co. ARTHUR D. Svxiobins Mr. Symonds has been a member of the Board of Education since 1952 and this year he is treasurer of the Library Board. He owns and operates a farm on the Griswold Road. HARRIS NIACBUENZIE Mr. MacKenzie has been on the Board of Educa- tion since 1949, a period of five years. Gziffney, Siupt. of Schools The Superintendent of Schools ln the l.e Roy Schools the teachers are often found giving tests to the pupils to see how well they are proceeding with their work. :Xt the end of each year the school itself is required to take a test to see whether its work has also been successful. The form of this test is to observe the lives of the graduates as they become citizens of our free society. If the graduates of l.e Roy are able to discipline themselves and to become good citizens doing useful work for the community, participating in our government and obeying its laws, then One of the most rarely seen persons in l.e Roy High is Mrs. Luttrell, Mr. Galfneys secretary. However, her job is not as slight as her appearances are few. Not only is she Mr. Galfney's secretary, but also acting clerk of the Board of Edu- cation and collector of school taxes. Mrs. Luttrell plays an important part in the operation of our school. the school has passed its test. The graduating Senior carries from Com- mencement on a triple responsibility, lirst to himself, second to his parents and third to his school. for so living his adult life that the honor and reputation of his three partners will not be lost or damaged.
