Foreword A diary is ordinarily equipped with lock and key to protect the intimate information which it might contain from the prying eyes of younger brothers, parents and overly inquisitive friends. The information which this composite diary contains, however, we are proud to present to public view. Here we have attempted to picture all our classmates and teachers, to preserve memories of those activities and events which have so filled our school years, and particularly this, our final year. This is a diary of our scholastic life and all the joys and sorrows, work and play which have filled that life. The O-AT-KAN staff sincerely hopes that each of you will read this diary carefully and thoughtfully and that it will serve as a permanent reminder to those who are leaving of the deep debt we owe our Alma Mater. We hope that those of you who have not yet attained graduation will be spurred to greater effort and a higher appreciation-of these things to which we so regretfully say good-by.
