I . 2 ot the State. lhe Board ot Education. composed ot seven members. each member H elected to serve a term of three years, are the people's representatives. 5 Q The Board of Education meets regularly on the hrst Tuesday ot each month I . . . . 3 throughout the school year and m such special meetings as are tound to be neces- i sary. ln their meetings the Board establishes the major policies of the school J , within the framework as laid down by the State Education Department. Having' establislied the policies of the school. the Board proceeds to employ members of the lfaculty and ,-Xdministration to carry out these policies. as well as arrange for the maintenance of the school buildings and grounds, and the collection of funds by taxes to make the school possible. To a very high degree, the school is but Z1 reflection of the quality and character of the individual members of the Board of Education. The members of the student body as well as the community feel a deep sense of gratitude to the members of the Board of Education who serving without compensation give willingly of their time and energy toward the furthering of the educational program of Le Roy.
