Toujours pref was the class motto, and orange and blue, the class colors. Turning to Chapter II, we find that tl1e class. as sophonlores, had a very successful year, with Janet Bryant, Pete Callan, and t'Freddie Lyttle as oflicers. They put 011 a Hallowe'en assembly program that was tl1e talk and envy of all the school. The sophomores had a Red and Black staff, under the supervision of Mrs. Balmer, adviser, Janet Bryant, editor: and Harold Barber, assistant editor. The girls' volleyball team won the league championship. and the basketball team was near the top. The one and only business venture was tl1e sale of letters and megaphones at the Le Roy-Batavia football game. In tl1e next chapter, we read that the class completed a very successful year under the guidance of Miss Scott and Miss Pearlman, advisersg William Watts, presidentg Eleanor Ward, vice-presitlentg Frederick Lyttle, treasurer: and Jean Willis, secretary. The big event of the year was the Junior Prom. Willis Jensen and his Campus Men furnished the music, while over a hundred couples danced in the gym, which was decorated with Christmas trees. colored lights, and artificial snow. Throughout the year, many of the Junior boys and girls distinguished them- selves in the line of athletics, cheer-leading. public speaking, debating, and dra- matics. Reaching Chapter 1V, we soon learn that the class reached the height of fame in its last year. The following were the class oflicers: Willis Johnson, presi- dentg Dorothy Richter, vice-president: Miriam Clapp, secretaryg and Harold Bar- ber, treasurer. The Senior play, The Patsy went over big. On April 29th, the Senior hall was held. It was a great success because of the exceptionally fine 'tAlice ill VVOnderland decorations and the music of Johnny Murdot-k's Musical Skippers. Last, but 11ot least, came the busy month of June, bringing with it, Regents, Baccalaureate, Class Night, and finally Conunencenient. Thus ends the annals of the Class of 1932. Two students, Janet Bryant and Willis Johnson, have luaintained an average of eighty-five percent or more for three and a half years of high school Work.
